New Goal Types: Aggregation & Threshold
Measure progress towards a shared goal
Your wish is our command!
We’ve taken your feedback seriously. Now, you can use “aggregation,” a new goal type to help you measure progress more precisely. With this new feature, Collato calculates the cumulative progress of connected sub-goals’ progress toward their respective main goals.
What does that mean, exactly? All the progress of each individual sub-goal (key result) of an objective is taken into account and averaged out when looking at the progress of the larger goal (objective). This way, you can visualize everyone’s contribution and progress- it helps to move the needle on big projects!
Stay on track with threshold target metrics
Is your goal to stay above or below a certain number? Now, it's much easier to measure your progress with the new goal type we have for you: threshold.
All you have to do is specify the target value and update your progress frequently. This way you can quickly see whether or not you’re on track. The threshold will always be shown as a horizontal trend-line, so it’s easier for you to visualize the progress.
Progress updates now include screen recordings
Videos are one of the most popular forms of content on the internet for a reason: They are engaging and visually appealing, making them perfect for those who understand best through seeing.
Previously, there was only one option to give updates: Adding a numerical number and text description for your update. Now, it’s time to give goal progress updates in a more engaging way: through video! Record your screen to pair with your goal update to make it interesting, enjoyable, and contextual. Screen recordings are a great way to get your message across without needing to email back and forth or having another in-person meeting.
Another mix of improvements that will change your experience:
- See past updates to your goal progress by clicking on the data points in your chart.
- The unscheduled panel is now included in the calendar layout.
- Card-level commenting + other commenting improvements.
We can't wait to show you what's next. Your feedback is helping us build the product. We’re creating a tool the way you need it to be! If you have more ideas, comments, and feedback, feel free to contact us!
