Hierarchy layout
Learn everything about hierarchy layout on Collato.

A hierarchy is a layout option that helps you create tiered structure to your work.
In a hierarchy, each item has a primary parent, which can be thought of as the top of the hierarchy. Each item can also have any number of secondary parents. Finally, each item can have any number of children, which is the lowest level of a hierarchy.
Creating a hierarchical structure is an excellent way to organize information in a way that is easy to understand and navigate. This also helps to create a 'birds-eye' view of information and projects so that updates are easily digestible for anyone.
